F/V Rachel Leah

Hello everyone, this has been a trying time for all and just wanted to give you a quick update. The Rachel Leah went into the boatyard before the corona virus broke out to the extent it is now. This was a planned annual maintenance, although we did go in 2 weeks earlier than planned. The maintenance is coming along, shipyards are categorized as "essential" so the yard does remain open and crews are working on the boats. We have no idea if there will be a lobster market when the boat is completed, but we hope to go out fishing. Any lobster you buy, from the grocery store, the fish market, or any restaurant with take out lobster, will help the industry. We hope and pray for everyone's safety, health and well being. Keep practicing social distancing and hand washing. Respect each other and what someone else's important issues to them might be . Be safe, Be well and we hope to have this all behind us so we all may carry on with our lives.
